A 35x52x7 oil seal means 35 mm inside diameter (the shaft), 52 mm outside diameter (the housing) and 7 mm width. An O-ring almost never has a reference: it’s ordered by inside diameter, cross-section and material. Also tell us the fluid it seals (oil, water, air) and the working temperature.

How do I measure an oil seal with no engraved reference?
With calipers: inside diameter (where it sits on the shaft), outside diameter (where it sits in the housing) and width. A side-on photo of the seal next to a ruler lets us confirm the lip profile.
Do you quote seals in non-catalog sizes?
Yes. For special sizes we look for the seal in the requested size or have it made; either way the quote states what’s being offered, the material and the supplier’s estimated lead time.
Which material is right for my equipment?
